October Feature Releases
- Approve bills through the Mobile App
- You can now receive and action any bill tasks sent to you directly through the mobile app in the new Tasks section. Leave notes and approve/decline bill tasks at ease from your mobile device, with more functionality to come in the future! Check out the full guide to our Mobile App here
- Email your suppliers directly from within Lightyear
- A few months ago, we introduced the Email Supplier Statement functionality in the Statements tab, allowing you to email suppliers directly from Lightyear about missing invoices. We have extended this functionality to the Approvals tab, meaning you can email suppliers about bill discrepancies or queries. Check out our full guide here
- Refer a Friend
- An important part of Lightyear's growth has been referrals from our loyal client base. We have now launched a refer a friend program as our way of saying thanks! You can access your unique Refer a Friend Code by clicking on the icon in the top ribbon. Learn more here
- Upload documents from anywhere
- You can now upload documents into Lightyear from any where via the 'Upload' button in the top ribbon
Improvements
- Data Extractions Enhancements
- System Generated PDF's - We have introduced enhanced AI within our data extraction tool for PDF invoices which is now allowing us to extract more data from a greater range of suppliers.
- OCR - Lightyear will now automatically detect any problematic or corrupt system generated PDF files and automatically override those supplier invoices via our OCR engine.
- Bill/credit note date is now optional - We have removed the requirement for a bill date on our data extraction engine, meaning we can now pull out the rest of the Document data and the user can enter the bill date manually in approvals if there is no bill date available on the document.
- Integration launched with Inerva - Australian Aged Care Software specialists.
