Using Projects or Customers/Sub Customers in QuickBooks Online

Are using Projects or Sub Customers in QuickBooks Online and want to have this automatically coded on a line-by-line basis? Lightyear can help with this!

How to Activate QuickBooks Online Projects and Customers in Lightyear

In Lightyear we refer to this as 'Billable Expenses' and 'Tracking Customers', which can be accessed via Lightyear's  Accountancy >  Accountancy Software Settings >  select Yes for ' Do you use Billable Expenses/Track Customers?'


​Note that QuickBooks Online 'Projects' will also sync back within the Customer List in Lightyear.  Once sync'd back, you can then select customers, sub customers and projects on your Bills which will carry across to QuickBooks Online and capture the expense lines against the Billable project or customer/sub customer
