When does Lightyear auto-suggest maps to me?
Okay, so let's say there is a Coca Cola bill coming into your account from
sales@cocacola.com, and this is the first time your account has received this type of Coca Cola bill from this email address.
The bill will drop into the Processing tab for you. If anyone else in the Lightyear network has received a similar type of Coca Cola bill with the same supplier details (e.g. email:
sales@cocacola.com), we will suggest to you the maps that we think best fit at the top of Panel 2. So if a map works for them, it might work for you. These will be presented under the Mappings section. See below:
You next action depends on whether you like the dataset or not.
- If you do like the dataset presented, you can create/select your supplier at the bottom of Panel 2 and Send to Approvals
- If you don't like the dataset presented, you can click to try other maps (highlighted in blue in app)
- If the map presented is close, but seems to need an extra detail you can Click to Query Map and drop a note which will be received by our team for review
- If no map is is presented to you, it doesn't mean that there is no map in the Lightyear network already that might work. If none is presented, you should still Find Map.
