Why doesn't Lightyear calculate the correct tax on my bills from MW Wine Auctions?
This auctioneer splits GST values across two columns, one being the Hammer Price (unit cost)* and Premium Price (Supplier's Fee). Lightyear's 'mapper' (our tech we use to extract metadata) requires a unit's GST value to be in one column.
If you receive MW Wine bills, users need to:
- Adjust manually, the GST values** to account for this. Or...
- Even better, ask the supplier to add a 'Total GST' column to their documents in their Accounting System (generally a box gets ticked in 'settings' that adds this for all of their customers).
By all means introduce our success team at Lightyear at support@teamlightyear.cloud and we'll work with MV to deliver the best experience for the global Lightyear community.
*Note that GST appears to be optional on some 'Hammer' prices, but consistent on 'Premium' prices; be vigilant when balancing your bill.
