Giving Feedback Using Aha
What is Aha?
Aha is a tool that allows Lightyear to capture customer feedback directly from users themselves (you!) to give us an insight into what you want to see within Lightyear to improve your experience. Aha also gives you the ability to vote on other users submissions so we can see the most popular requests over time.
Please Note: We are using Aha as a guide to find out what customers want, ideas on the portal don't guarantee they will make it onto our roadmap.
How Do I Get Access to Lightyears' Aha Portal?
There are two ways to join:
- Reach out to your Onboarding Specialist, Account Manager or our Success team for more information
- Register your interest here and a member of the team will add you to the portal.
How Do I Submit an Idea?
Once you are in Aha you will see a button to Add a New Request.
Click this and you will see a Request form.
- Request Name: A suitable name for the request that will make sense to anyone who reads it
- If you start typing a name in here, Aha will suggest something similar to you that might already exist
- Description: More information about the request here. This is visible to everyone, so don't include any personal/confidential information
- Customer Country: Select your country from the dropdown to make it easier for us to reach out to you if we need more details on your request
- Job Role: Your Lightyear permission so we can see which area of Lightyear you are in the most
- Category: A category from the dropdown. Don't worry if you don't know, you can leave this blank and a member of the Lightyear team can fill it in on your behalf
When you've filled out all the relevant details, click Add Request 
and the request will be added to the portal for other users to vote on.
How Do I Vote on Ideas?
On the landing page you will see the Ideas added by other users, in order of the most voted for to the least.
To vote on an idea, simply click the Vote button to the left of each Idea.
What Happens Next?
The Lightyear team will regularly review the Ideas within the list and try to work these into our roadmap. We may reach out to you individually for more information about the Idea, to give further feedback on any designs we come up with, or to ask if you want to be part of beta testing for any larger release items.
Adding an Idea to the portal doesn't guarantee it will be added to the roadmap.
